Since 1996 Basics Bank has been giving out free food and clothes to those in need in Southampton.
As good as our State benefit system is, it often cannot respond quickly enough for life's crises.
Basics Bank work with us to provide emergency food and clothes provision for those who fall through the gaps in the benefit net.
Food and clothes are donated by churches, schools, the public and businesses. They sort, store and make it available to those in need.

Benefits for our Pupils
When we identify a family in need we are able to work with the Basics Bank to provide support and as such also build up a constructive relationship with our parents, carers and families.
