In Key Stage 3 Creative Crafts, pupils will work on a range of mini projects that explore a wide range of craft materials and techniques. The projects aim to build confidence and allow students to gain experience with a range of materials in order to prepare them to become more independent in the craft workshop and to undertake qualifications at Key Stage 4.

In Key Stage 4, pupils work towards achieving the NCFE Level 2 award in Creative Craft.
As part of the course, pupils must complete a portfolio of coursework where they explore craft techniques to come up with their own craft ideas. Students are then expected to plan and prepare their tools and materials in order to make their final craft items. The projects undertaken in KS3 range from restoring and upcycling old furniture to projects where students design and make their own animal habitats, such as bat, bird and insect houses.
